To cover a maternity leave we're currently looking for a Purchasing Analyst for the Cummins site in Rumst. In this role you will be working closely with our suppliers and on a daily basis will be requesting price quotes for aftermarket parts and checking these quotes before getting them approved. Knowledge of Excel (intermediate level) is required for this role, training will be provided in order to learn Cummins' proprietary systems. Good analytical skills are required in order to process this,data. The assignment duration is at least 6 months, this can be extended. -Support identification/resolution of supplier invoice and payment issues. -Support completion, closure, and recording activities for various contracts and other supplier documentation. -Prepare documentation for sourcing events. -Initiate/Support work delivering results in meeting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory goals. -Support supplier quality activities with supplier quality improvement engineers, suppliers, and category teams. -Liaison between procurement teams and other functions. -Participate in Project teams, when necessary, to ensure effective implementation of change. -Communicate with the supplier and work with supplier to manage Project deliverables within agreed timelines. -Use common process tools and business systems to provide repeatable analytics and reporting. -Ensure data integrity of all procurement information as it is created and deliver ongoing improvement of existing data. -Identify improvements for business processes. -Works independently to update procurement systems and coordinates approval and control of procurement activities. Provides support to sourcing and finance teams globally.
